Why Capture Love?
Because of the story it creates and the memories that follow…..
When I think about love, I think about couples in love.
Now, I know they’re all types of love ( for family or close friends ) but fairytale part of two people in love however, the fairytale part of me thinks about happiness, smiles and kisses. All of the cheesy things that go with love ( just like hallmark movies ) especially when it comes to the holidays.
During Christmas time, the Hallmark channel has every combination of love situation down packed.
The story always starts with one person who lives in the BIG city and the other person lives in the small town. Theirs always a reason why the person left the small town to go to BIG city and for some reason or another, they end up back home ( in there small town ) and inevitably, the two love interests meet and fall in love the end. (O.K so, its not always that quick but, you get my point ).
My favorite part about the Hallmark holiday movies is that theirs always a part where they do flash backs of the two love interests over time as they start to figure out how much fun they’ve had together, and why they fell in love.
The flashbacks always include things like the couple kissing, laughing, holding hands, playing in the snow or taking fun snap shots next to the holiday decorations in town.
Special moments of them looking into each others eyes, warm hugs and embraces , and by the end of the movie, if you’re anything like me, you’re like aaaaahhhh, that was so beautiful.
I guess that’s why I love to photograph couples capturing there love.
It’s the Hallmark movie in me. And the best part about that is, I get to help couples record the history of their love all while creating their unique story.
It makes me smile knowing that I’m able to capture a beautiful memory for my couples to cherish forever.
Something they can look at when they have a bad day at work or school. Something that no matter what’s going on in their lives when they look at their photos, it reminds them of how they fell in love and why they were chosen to be together.
And that is why I capture love.
I had so much fun spending time with these two beautiful souls.
I enjoyed their laughter and watching them have a blast during this photo session.
Capturing there joy, happiness and love reminds of the Hallmark movies ( minus the snow ) that I love to watch during the holidays. Images like this warm my heart which makes me appreciate and love my job even more.
