It started with a note on his notepad….
They met at a dog park and right before he left, she wrote him a note on his notepad inviting him to meet at the dog park again. And as they say, the rest is history ( I had the pleasure of capturing a part of that love story before these two decided to share a lifetime of love together ).
Meeting at a dog park has got to be one of the most romantic stories I’ve ever heard. And when I had the chance to photograph these two, their love story came alive.
On the day of the shoot, it was beautiful, HOT and sunny but, you can’t tell because these two were as cool and calm as the breeze….

Aminda & Riz, help rescue animals ( and not just cat’s and dog’s ). They also have three beautiful puppies of their own ( Todd, Rory & Joey ).
During this photo session, the puppies ran around in between us protecting and guarding Aminda & Riz.
I loved every minute of it!

At the time, I’d never taken photos with puppies so, it was a challenge and if you asked me if I’d do it again, the answer would be yes!
I love all animals however, cat’s and dogs are my favorite!
So, they can pretty much do whatever they want around me. They’re fun and lovable and that’s all that matters.

Photographing Aminda & Riz and watching them interact with each other, brought a warm feeling to my heart and brought tears to my eyes ( I kept that to myself ) because they’re love is so beautiful.

Time flies when you’re having fun!
That’s why I think it’s so important to capture as many special moments ( with the one you love ) as much possible ( even if it’s only once a year ).
A photo session not only gives you a chance to spend some time with your hunny bunny, baby cakes, snookums ( or whatever cute nick name you have for your partner). It gives you a moment in time, and sparks a memory whenever you see that photo.
How does this benefit you?
When you’re having a bad day. You can look at that photograph and it will bring you back to that moment for just a few seconds.
And in that time, even if you’re having a bad day, that photograph will make you smile and remember all that you have and why fell in love.
