Do you ever think about what it means to be in the right place at the right time?
That moment when something wonderful happens when you least expect it?
Well, that’s what happened when I ran into these two beautiful souls earlier this year. It was a beautiful day and I was out ( with my camera ) enjoying the open streets on Lyndale in Minneapolis. It was a hot day but fun. Lots of people enjoying the fact that they can walk down Lyndale avenue shopping, tasting great food, listening to live music and just being able to be close to one another and enjoy community again.
It was really nice to be able to enjoy the outdoors and see people again. Over the past few years, we’ve all been a little tense due to the pandemic and once we were able to have meetings, parties and festivals again, it brought people out so that they can enjoy being around each other again.
The day was full of people laughing, smiling, talking, and just plain ole having fun!

And one thing that I really enjoyed was running into these two. Their energy warmed my soul and I couldn’t resist capturing it through my lens.
In just a few minutes, I was able to make them feel comfortable enough to capture these fun photos! And I even managed to get them to kiss and show the love between them without making them feel pressured to do so.

What I love about moments like this is that I get to capture you just being you. I love it when I get a chance to capture you being yourself, it tells a great story and it allows me to help you feel comfortable so that your photos look natural and you’re having fun!

It’s moments like this and comments like that, that touch my heart and lets me know that what I do really matters. It also lets me know that it doesn’t matter where you are or what you have on, I can make you feel joy, love, laughter and have fun no matter what!
And that’s my goal!
