Mom Strong!
Moms are some of the hardest working women in the world. Some Mom’s work full time jobs and raise their babies, some are stay at home Mom’s, some own their own businesses and some have a partner to help them out while others are doing it on their own.
It really doesn’t matter, I still think Mom’s are the hardest working women in the world especially if they’re doing it by themselves.
When you’re little, Mom’s play with you, read to you, listen to you, nurture you, teach you, love you, and kiss your boo boo’s away. Mom’s are strong, harding working women who give you advice, and are there for you when you need them to kiss your wounds and tell you everything will be alright.
When it comes to taking photos of kids, one thing that I’ve learned is to let kids be themselves. And in an outdoor setting, kids get a chance to run, jump, play and have fun which allows me to get natural lifestyle shots creating the perfect story.
Kids crack me up!
Why?
Because they tell it like it is with the purest honesty. They have no filters, they’re full of energy, curious about discovering new things and, they know how to enjoy life and have fun!
Watching kids laugh and have fun with there Mom’s is inspiring and energizing. And creating a beautiful story for my clients that creates a fun memory is something that I love to do.
Especially for Mom’s. I’m not a Mom however, seeing the joy between a Mom and her son or daughter is so magical.
I love that I get to spend some time creating a great story all while capturing a moment for Mom’s to look back too when there babies grow up.
One of my favorite things to see is the natural and honest expressions from kids that I get when I let them be themselves and once they get comfortable with me, then I can ask them to pose for Mom.
And Mom, I promise you you’ll get some shots that you’ll love so you can share them with friends and family also allowing you to have some great memories to look back on when your kids are all grown up.
I’ve been creating a new story timeline for this Mom for 4 years. It’s been an honor to take photos of M & H during this time and watching H grow-up.
He’s a smart, funny, energetic kid who’s always honest and loves new adventures. Running around over the years chasing after him to capture his joy hanging out with his Mom has been so much fun for me.
And capturing moments of H with his Grandma has been a blast as well.
Thanks M, H, & J for allowing me to capture these beautiful moments between Mom, Son & Grandma!
Kids have energy and Mom’s are strong.
Dealing with the world, work and raising kids is a tough job. Shout out to all of the Mom’s out there this month. You’re strong, hard working beautiful souls who deserve a shout out and so much more!
Happy International Women’s month!
